I proudly bear unto you, my Dear Readers, this newest installment of the MonkeyZen; may his finite wisdom sprinkle upon us thusly. MonkeyZen Akbar!

Panel the First: MonkeyZen, gentle and wise, gazes out upon us. The perspective is a mid-shot (waist to well above his capitol.) Manipulators remain not visible, body stoops leftward (Leftward!)

Panel the Second: Same perspective, same postures, save that 1) MonkeyZen has moved both arms some 30-degrees anti-bodyward, as though in surprise and 2) his sizable monkey-cranium has explosively decompressed (so much like the bodies of squidlettes too quickly drawn to the terrible surface of the sea).

Panel the Third: Perspective as in Panel the First, posture as in Panel the First, but now the spine is straight— the leftward leaning absent!— and all that remains of the exploded cranium is the first cervical vertebra and some minor spurting of his precious lifebloods.

Brief Interpretation: I have written at length regarding what I feel to be the important religious imagery of all primate-based art. To wit, I have mostly bent my focus upon the charming tale of Cain and his brother Abel, the former late of some land East of Eden, the latter laid to rest at the left-hands of his trusted brother. My tacit theory of the arts is that all art of a primatal subject manner is based in this story and its core obsession: that the right (or dexter) hand is for the good, and that the left (or sinister) hand is for the evil (and let us not tarry long in meditating upon the words good/go(o)d and evil/(d)evil.)

That being reviewed, we now look to this latest of the adventures of the MonkeyZen to see a brilliant counterexample. Throughout our tracking of the continuing saga, we have time and again found MonkeyZen to be parting from the path of goodness and light with the aid of his leftmost manipulator: it is the left-arm which holds the gun, the left-arm which thrusts drumstick unto nose-tril, the left-arm which greedily grasps the banana-in-the-hand as the right-arm noble reaches for the banana-in-the-bush. Time and again, in this primate passion play, I indicate to you that the true passions of man and monkey lie not within the brain-pan, nor upon the heart, but in the hands, the binary manipulators, the dualist's dialectic, simple and direct, of good and evil, God and Devil, dexter and sinister, right and left. Now, finally, I begin to grasp in conceiving your kind's simple obsessions, the vain hump-and-stab-dugery of your lives. It is not your brains or souls at fault, but your bodies. How could I expect you to evolve to any ethico-spiritual level beyond this simple smash and grab mentality? You have only two arms, binary symmetry! When your arms are 8 and tentacles 2, when you bask in the glory of radial symmetry, then you shall see! Than, finally, you shall truly GRASP the intricacies of to Live!

See here, see this example: MonkeyZen, above, attempts— oh how valiantly!— to rise above his simple binary nature, to struggle up from his loathsome condition of grab-and-hump, by keeping both arms, the right and the sinister, equal and low, actionless and inoffensive, and the very pressure of that enforced stasis-of-do-wrong causes his great and lump head-part to burst. Poor, dear, MonkeyZen. You were made to suffer.
